RAID Machine warranty period covers cost of parts and labor to fix manufacturing and materials defects under conditions of normal use for a period of three (3) years starting from the purchase date, or until any warranty extension runs out. If proof of purchase is not available, then the warranty starts from the manufacture date with a 90 day grace period. During the warranty period RAID Machine will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective parts as needed to restore the unit to its original functionality.

All warranty requests require a support ticket to be created and an RMA number subsequently issued by RAID Machine.


The warranty does not cover the following conditions:

  • The serial number of the product or component has been removed or damaged.
  • The defect is rendered as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, contamination, improper maintenance or other external causes.
  • Loss or damage in transit.
  • The product has been modified by non-authorized personnel.
  • Any damage to or loss of any personal data, programs, or removable storage media.
  • Any cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, broken plastics, metal corrosion, or mechanical damage.

Under these excluded circumstances, any service will be treated as out of warranty.


Any products returned to RAID Machine for warranty service must be packed in either original or equivalent packaging, and insured for full value. The customer is responsible for shipping charges to RAID Machine, while RAID Machine will cover ground return shipping charges within USA or Canada. Expedited shipping is available at additional cost.

Advance Replacement

For products with 3 year warranty, RAID Machine provides Advance Replacement service within the first year of warranty for defective parts. RAID Machine will require a preauthorization hold on a valid credit card before the items are shipped to the customer.  Upon receiving the replacement items, customer is required to return the defective items to be received by RAID Machine within 30 days of RMA approval. Any cosmetic or mechanical damage to the parts will be billed to the customer at applicable rates.

Out-of-Warranty Service

Upon expiration of the warranty, repair services and parts are available at applicable costs including all shipping charges.
