Dual SAN Subsystems feature cable-free design and redundant controllers for maximum reliability and excellent performance. The completely integrated storage subsystems are perfect as shared enterprise storage. Active/active nature of the controllers double the connectivity and significantly increase performance with load balancing. We have both 10gbE and extremely fast FC16 options available.

Dual SAN Subsystems are an excellent choice for reliable and high performance storage area network priced at entry level but featuring high end redundant features for all components. It’s a powerful and fast platform, perfect for a range of solutions from Hyper-V / VMware storage to large scale data warehousing.

Performance

We begin with high-speed, low-latency 10gbe ethernet or 16G FC links, then double the number of links through our active-active dual controller architecture. We use the highest performing RAID controllers that can perform at over 4GB/sec, with upgradeable writeback cache, performance optimizations for A/V storage and load-balancing across controllers.

High Availability

Dual controller design provides high availability by protecting against controller failure. You also get increased performance and double the number of host connections available. While SAS is recommended, SATA drives are also supported using optional interposer modules. Meanwhile, enterprise-grade dual-redundant power supplies with plenty of headroom provide uninterrupted power.

Reliability

RAID Machine Dual SAN Subsystems feature a cableless design. The power supplies, controllers, backplane and hard drives plug into each other using industrial standard connectors.  Internal cable failures are taken out of the equation, and hotplugging avoids downtime. Each system also goes through our unique 48-hour burn-in testing as part of quality assurance.
